Recently I consulted a man who narrated how his girlfriend, with whom he was planning to get married, filed a false promise to marry case on him.
I’ve heard multiple stories wherein the woman files such false cases to

- Make illegal monetary gain
- Blackmail
- Take revenge

The client said that after a little research he was able to find out that she has filed similar case against another person, alleging similar accusations, that too just 3 months prior to filing the present case.

This is how we can be absolutely sure that these were both false allegations, filed by a woman with an intent to exploit the justice system.

The most absurd thing is that even when it is concretely proved that the allegations were false and the woman had filed false cases to extort money, hardly any action is ever taken against the false accuser.

It is extremely sad to see that the law created to protect women is being misused at such large scale and with no repercussions
