No successful lawyer in India can deny the role of their associates, juniors, or team members in their success.
However, one thing I've noticed among many lawyers, despite holding the highest regard for their juniors, is that when juniors or associates propose solutions to certain challenges, it often becomes a 'my way or the highway' situation.

I've made an active effort to avoid this as much as possible.
Incorporating insights of your team can benefit the client immensely, and ultimately myself.

Instead of simply saying, 'I've taken your input, now let's proceed with my strategy,' I advocate for and encourage the lawyers in my team to engage in dialogue with me.

This dialogue allows for either the associate to convince you of a particular strategy or, for you to convince your associate (and even yourself) that your strategy is correct.

This approach has several benefits:
1. Enhanced clarity of thought.
2. Juniors feel more respected.
3. Best solution for the client
